I’m Pete Bailey, a location sound man and the host of Film Industry Pro.
This episode is a short one, as I tell you a little bit about me and my background and what you can expect from the interviews with our guests in the following episodes.
I have a set of questions that I ask each guest but i do often go off on a tangent if theres some good stuff to dig out.
I’ve tried to design the podcast questions so that anyone from any role within the film industry gets loads of useful tips and advice from listening, no matter what job our guests do within film and TV.
We’ll get to know what their job involves, what are some of the jobs they’ve done, what their first year as a freelancer was like, what their worst and best moments were in their career. We’ll talk kit/software, and how much they charge, amongst loads more.
I then ask them a series of short questions:
– what has them excited about the industry right now?
– give us one internet resource and one gadget you couldn’t live without?
– what kit would you buy if money was no object?
– what 2 film do you think people NEED to see?
and how would you get back into the industry and what kit would you buy if all you had was £3k
as well as all of the above you’ll get constant great advice on how to position yourself in the film industry and become just as successful as they are.
If you have any questions that you think should be in the show, then please email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. I hope you enjoy it and get a tonne of value from it, and I look forward to hearing from you.
